Meet Chony
Chantel founded Vue Aesthetics + Skin with a vision of creating a professional, welcoming clinic where people feel informed, supported and genuinely listened to throughout their treatment journey.
Before working in the aesthetics and skin industry, Chony was actually the person who had no idea where to start. She barely used skincare, didn’t understand her own skin concerns and remembers how overwhelming it could feel walking into a clinic without knowing what to ask, what treatments were available or what was actually appropriate for her.
That experience became an important part of the philosophy behind Vue.
“I wanted to create the kind of space I wish I’d had when I was starting out. Somewhere you can walk in exactly as you are, whether you’ve never used professional skincare before, you’ve had treatments for years, or you simply feel like what you’re currently doing isn’t working for you. You don’t need to know what treatment you need before you walk through our doors. That’s what the consultation is for.”
Drawing on her nursing background and experience in acute healthcare settings, Chony takes a thorough, patient-centred approach to consultations. Understanding an individual’s concerns, medical history, goals, lifestyle and priorities forms an important part of developing an appropriate treatment plan.
Her approach centres around education, clinical assessment and clear communication. Rather than looking at treatments in isolation, Chony believes in taking the time to discuss the bigger picture and helping patients understand the different options available to them.
She is particularly passionate about ongoing education and the science behind skin and aesthetic medicine, an area that continues to evolve and is one of the reasons she remains so invested in the industry.
Above all, Chony wants Vue to be a clinic that can grow with its patients. Your skin, priorities, budget and circumstances can change throughout different stages of life, and your treatment plan can change with them.
There is no expectation that you should have started sooner or already know what you need. Vue is simply a place to start the conversation.
